Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang được thực hiện trên tất cả 165 nhà vệ sinh người bệnh tại bệnh viện Phụ sản Trung ương năm 2023 với mục tiêu mô tả thực trạng chất lượng nhà vệ sinh người bệnh. Chất lượng nhà vệ sinh được đánh giá trên 5 khía cạnh gồm: điều kiện chung nhà vệ sinh; chất lượng sàn nhà vệ sinh; chất lượng tường và trần nhà vệ sinh; đặc điểm thiết bị vệ sinh; các vật dụng nhà vệ sinh. Kết quả: các khía cạnh chất lượng nhà vệ sinh có tỷ lệ đạt từ 35,7% đến 98,2%; trong đó khía cạnh có tỷ lệ đạt thấp nhất là khía cạnh sàn nhà vệ sinh; cao nhất là khía cạnh trang thiết bị và vật dụng nhà vệ sinh với tỷ lệ là 98,2%. Hai tiêu chí có tỷ lệ đạt thấp nhất là tiêu chí sàn nhà vệ sinh khô, không đọng nước và tiêu chí không có mùi hôi với tỷ lệ lần lượt là 19,4% và 25,5%. Kết luận: khía cạnh sàn nhà vệ sinh có tỷ lệ đạt thấp nhất. Trong đó, các tiêu chí về chất lượng nhà vệ sinh có tỷ lệ đạt thấp nhất gồm: sàn nhà vệ sinh khô, không đọng nước; không có mùi hôi; sàn sạch không có vết bẩn; sàn không có rác rơi vãi, thùng đựng chất thải. Do đó, bệnh viện cần có các biện pháp can thiệp trên những tiêu chí này để đảm bảo chất lượng nhà vệ sinh bệnh viện.

Một nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang được tiến hành trên 122 bệnh nhân bệnh thận mạn lọc máu có chu kỳ điều trị tại Khoa Thận - Lọc máu, Bệnh viện Bạch Mai. Kết quả của nghiên cứu này cho thấy: Tỉ lệ bệnh nhân có nguy cơ suy dinh dưỡng theo bộ công cụ NRS 2002 là 74,%, tỉ lệ bệnh nhân có mức BMI ≤ 18,5 là 39,3%, tỉ lệ thiếu máu có tới 54,2%, tỉ lệ sắt huyết thanh dưới ngưỡng bình thường là 10,8%, tỉ lệ bệnh nhân có mức transferrin dưới mức bình thường (200mg/dl) là 85%.

Một nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang được tiến hành trên 79 bệnh nhân sau phẫu thuật đường tiêu hóa có chuẩn bị tại khoa Ngoại tổng hợp Bệnh viện E. Mục tiêu của nghiên cứu này là mô tả thực trạng nuôi dưỡng sau phẫu thuật 7 ngày của bệnh nhân phẫu thuật đường tiêu hóa. Kết quả của nghiên cứu này cho thấy: 68,4% bệnh nhân sau phẫu thuật ngày thứ 7 được nuôi dưỡng kết hợp giữa truyền tĩnh mạch và đường miệng; 8,9% bệnh nhân được nuôi dưỡng hoàn toàn theo đường miệng. Ngày thứ nhất sau phẫu thuật bệnh nhân được nuôi dưỡng hoàn toàn qua đường truyền tĩnh mạch và năng lượng trung bình là 1105 Kcal. Trong giai đoạn đầu này, tổng năng lượng trung bình cung cấp cho bệnh nhân đáp ứng được 95,5% nhu cầu khuyến nghị. Giai đoạn khởi động ruột và giai đoạn chuyển tiếp (2 - 4 ngày sau phẫu thuật) tổng năng lượng chỉ đáp ứng được 60 - 65% theo khuyến nghị. Trong giai đoạn hồi phục, tổng nhu cầu dinh dưỡng trung bình cao nhất là 1003,8 Kcal; đạt 69,7% so với nhu cầu khuyến nghị.
